Bio

Dorothy Jean Curbello, 87, of Freeport passed away January 25, 2017. She was born February 27, 1929 to Paul and Viola Moore. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and her sons Paul and David. Dorothy is survived by her grandson Ryan and his wife, her grandson Robert and his wife, and two great grandchildren, Ava and Rowan. Dorothy, affectionately known as "DJ," was a graduate of Brazosport High School and a Dow retiree. DJ was a beloved wife and mother, and a devoted grandmother. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, and will be missed as the strong matriarch of the Curbello family. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
