David Alan Curbello of Katy, Texas, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016. David, beloved son and uncle, was born on June 14, 1953 in Freeport, Texas. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Jean Curbello; nepehws, Ryan Curbello and Robert Curbello and their families. David was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lee Curbello; and his brother, Richard Paul Curbello. He is also survived by numerous brothers in Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 669, of which he was a dedicated member for 36 years. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel, in Katy, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Charles Williams officiating. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Gulf Prairie Cemetery in Jones Creek, Texas. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial gifts may do so to the American Cancer Society, 6301 Richmond Ave., Houston, Texas 77057.
