Dorothy L Rakovec Kliment Hula Dorothy L. (Kliment) Hula, 80, of Valparaiso, died Jan. 23 at the Saunders County Care Center, in Wahoo. Dorothy was born Aug. 15, 1926, to Louis and Antonia (Pokorny) Ratkovec in rural Weston. She was a homemaker. She married Alfred Kliment in 1945 and Adolph Hula in 1965. She was a member of member of Sts. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Her husbands, her parents, an infant son, Gary Hula and granddaughter, Michelle Koranda, precede her in death. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Kathy Kliment of Valparaiso and Mike and Nancy Hula of Raymond; daughters and sons-in-law, RoseAnn and Robert Koranda of Prague and Susan and Wayne Kliment-Nelson of Valparaiso; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, LeRoy and Sylvia Ratkovec of Valparaiso and Marvin and MaryAnn Ratokvec of David City; sister and brother-in-law, Deloris and George Coufal of Loma; and special friend, Ida Schindler. Mass of Christian Burial was held Jan. 26 at Sts. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Valparaiso. Burial was at the Touhy Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of the family. Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home of Valparaiso was in charge of the arrangements. Published in Wahoo Newspaper on February 1, 2007
