OBITUARY: Tecumseh Chieftian. June 6, 2013, pg.8. Alden J. Jindra, 76, of Clarkson, Ne. died Friday, May 24, 2013, at his home. Alden J. Jindra was born July 31, 1936, on the family farm near Clarkson to Adolph and Lillian (Cerny) Jindra. He attended rural schools. Alden served in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1957 and earned the Good Conduct Medal. On Feb. 7, 1959, he married Marilyn Korte at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. They lived and farmed near Clarkson for over 50 years and Alden had also worked at the packing house in Schuyler and drove truck. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of Clarkson, two daughters, Theresa (Randy) Ruth, Rising City, Kelly (Kenny)Leuders, Tecumseh, two sons, Timothy (Candace) Jindra, Raymond, Kenneth (Janeen) Jindra of Clarkson, five sisters; Viola Suchan, Betty (Ken) Hledik and Shirley (Dean) Brabec, all of Columbus, Marcella (Joe) Fichtl, Norfolk and Doris McDonald of Fremont, three brothers; Robert (Jeanette) Jindra, Fort Madison, Iowa, Adolph (Mary) Jindra, Schuyler and Ron (Marilyn) Jindra of Columbus, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Alden was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters; Mildred Jindra, Alma Podany, Ruth Seberg and a brother, Richard Jindra. Funeral services were Wednesday May 29, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at the Kracl Funeral Chapel, Schuyler, Nebraska with Jerry L. Kracl, Speaker. Committal: Clarkson Cemetery, Military Honors. Arrangements by Kracl Funeral Chapel of Schuyler, NE.
