Richard Dennis Jindra Richard D. Jindra, 64, of Fremont died Monday, May 2, 2006, at his home. He was born Feb. 24, 1941, in Stanton to Adolph and Lillian [Cerny] Jindra. He grew up in Clarkson where he graduated from high school. He went to work for Campbell Soup Co. in Fremont and retired after 30 years there. He worked a few years for R & D Cartage, then for Palletan of Fremont, retiring in 2003 He married Myrtle Teeters on Oct. 11, 1963. He was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Fremont and the Izaak Walton League. Survivors include: his wife, a daughter, Peggy (Mrs. Ed) Schutt of Fremont; two sons, Gary Jindra of Fremont and Scott (Paula) Jindra of Hooper, four brothers, Robert (Jeanette) Jindra of Fort Madison, lowa, Ron (Marilyn) Jindra of Columbus, Eldon (Marilyn) Jindra of Clarkson and Adolph (Mary) Jindra of Schuyler, five sisters, Shirley (Dean) Brabec of Schuyler, Doris McDonald of Fremont, Betty (Ken) Hladik of Columbus, Vi (Charley) Suchan of Columbus and Marcy (Joe) Fichtl of Norfolk, five grandchildren, Kayla (Matt) Uerling, Shana Jindra and Richard, Casarah and Nathan Schutt; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Nathan Uerling. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Seburg, Alma Podany and Mildred Jindra. The funeral will be 10 am. Thursday at The Presbyterian Church in Fremont with the Rev. Ray Stewart oficiating. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. today at Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont with the family receiving friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.
