(KS) Cuba Tribune Nov. 22, 1923 Wesley Kasha Wesley Kasha was born April 26, 1848 in Bohemia, and died at Cuba, Kansas, November 4, 1923. In 1855 he came to this country, moving with his parents to Manitowoc, Wisconson, where he resided until 1873. April 28, 1872 he was married to Miss Rozy Shara, also of Manitowoc. In January 1873 he moved to Republic county Kansas, where he bought a homestead five miles south of Narka, Kansas, where they resided until 1883, when they moved back to his father's farm near Manitowoc, Wisconsin, where they lived until 1891, returned to their homestead near Narka, and resided until 1918, when they sold their farm and moved to Haddam, Kansas, living there till 1921 and moved to Cuba where they resided until his death, November 4, 1923. The deceased leaves a wife, Rozy Kasha, and ten living children, two sons having preceded him to the beyond, Joe dying at the age of 8 years and 6 months and Henry H. was killed in France in the late World War. Living Children are: Mrs. Julia Chapman of Baldwin Park, California W.B. Kasha of Mahaska, Kansas J.J. Kasha of Wilber Nebraska A.E. Kasha of Kansas City, Missouri Mrs. Ed Shimek of Cuba, Kansas J.E. Kasha of Lost Springs, Kansas Rosia, Mary and Louis Kasha who live at the old home, the latter of whom is an invalid., and 19 Grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were conducted at the home. The remains were laid to rest at the (Kasha) National Cemetery four and one half miles south of Narka, Kansas. Gone but not forgotten.
