William G. "Bill" Webster, 89, of Hastings died Wednesday, Jan 4, 1995, at Good Samaritan Village Perkins Pavilion. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Brand-Wilson Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. W. C. Westman officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery. Mr. Webster was born Nov. 16, 1905, to Al and Katie (Effle) Webster in Orchard. He graduated from Royal High School in 1924. He farmed in the Creighton area. On March 9, 1927, he married Gladys Forsberg. They had three children. They moved to Hastings in 1952. He worked at the Navel Ammunition Depot east of Hastings, Allen Shopping Center, Hastings Public Schools and District No. 60 School. His wife died Dec. 8, 1984. Survivors are one daughter, Judy Stewart of Hastings; one son, Bill of Mankato, Minn: 11 grandchildren: and 13 great-grandchildren. Hastings Tribune
