Bio
Funeral services for Bonnie L. Erickson, 57, were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 20 at Zion Lutheran Church in Creighton. The Rev. Paul Banitt officiated with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Keith Erickson, Eric Webster, Roger Thorell, Tim Erickson, Joe Stewart and Wayne Seibert. She was born January 28, 1931 at Brunswick, the daughter of William and Gladys (Forsberg) Webster. She died Saturday, July 16 at a Norfolk hospital after an illness. She attended rural school near Creighton for three years. She was married to Les Erickson, December 27, 1951 at Creighton. The resided at Fort Riley, Kans. for two years, at Columbus and farmed near Wausa, Brunswick and Creighton before moving to Creighton in 1983. Mrs. Erickson had worked at the Plainview hospital, Creighton Care Centre, Creighton Community Schools and Alpine Village. She was a member of Zion Lutheran church and its women's organizations. Survivors include her husband; son, Roger of DeWitt; four daughters, Mrs. Barry (Lida) Seleh of Niobrara, Mrs. Willard (Nancy) Harpster of Ewing, Mrs. John (Mary) Miller of Randolph and Lorna Erickson of Norfolk; her father of Hastings; brother, Bill Webster of Mankato, Minn.; sister, Mrs. David (Judy) Stewart of Hastings and seven grandchildren.
