Bio
Samantha Jane Dimp Levins, 89, of Spurger, Texas, passed away May 1, 2013. Born in Spurger, Texas to Johnny and Alice Winkle, she lived in Spurger all of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Corbett Red Levins; siblings, Walter, Iretus, J. A. and Joe Winkle, Susie Sample, Juanita Smith and Virley Smith; grandson, Donald Ray Bennett. Dimp is survived by her loving children, J. C. and Barbara Levins; Cecelia and Larry Odom; sisters, Madoline Minter and Gerladine Norvell; grandchildren, Chad and Kim Odom, Kim Odom, Kristie and Brent Marcum and Lee Bennett; eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Spurger with burial to follow at the Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger. Published in The Beaumont Enterprise on May 3, 2013
