Bio

Mrs. Jackson, 91, a former Colorado Springs resident, died April 25, 2001, in Platte City, Mo. She was a retired nurse. Mrs. Jackson was born April 14, 1910, in Loma, Neb., to Joseph A. Styskal and Mary Smahel, who are deceased. She was married July 14, 1934, to George F. Jackson, who is deceased. She is survived by a son, George F. Jr. of Tennessee; two sisters, Angeline Trevethan of Kimball, Neb. and Irene Aden of Arizona; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Harold and William A.; four sisters, Ruth Styskal, Marie Shupe, Helen Morris and Wilma Shonka; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2030 W. Colorado Ave. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road.
