Bio

Jack was born March 21, 1921 in Gurley, Nebraska to Herbert John Henry Quick and Adella Fern "Della" Doremus. His father was passed away in 1924 and he adopted his stepfather's last name. He was reared and educated in Polk, Nebraska. He was with the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) before entering the U.S. Army to serve during World War II. Following the service, he was employed by Amoco Pipeline Company working in various areas of the North Platte Valley in Nebraska for 18 years, retiring in Thermopolis after 25 years with the company. Jack was married to Erma May Frasier, with whom he had four children, and Doris Brewer. Grave side services for Jack Loveland, of Thermopolis, Wyoming, who died in a Denver hospital were held on November 25, 1986 at Valley View Cemetery in Torrington, Wyoming.
