Bio

Russell Eugene "Bud" Parker was the son of Wade Unum Parker and Nellie Goree Oliver. His childhood was spent in San Jacinto County, Texas. He also lived in Vermont. He graduated from Shepherd High School, and went to a business college in Houston. He married Winne Lee Murry on December 31, 1949 in Shepherd, San Jacinto County, Texas. They were the parents of Ronald Eugene and Kay Vonn, who are also buried in Shepherd Cemetery.
