Bio

Herald Coaster, October 3, 1979: Funeral services for Dora Dunn, 74, of Rosenberg, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Rosenberg, with the Rev. Howard Gates officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Dunn died Oct. 1 in a Houston hospital. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge, Woodmen of the World, and Royal Neighbors of America. Survivors include two sons, Robert Dunn of Houston and J.B. Dunn of Rosenberg; two grandsons; two brothers, Harmon Kennelly of Houston and J.T. Brumbelow of Brazoria; three sisters, Ruby Hoot of Brazoria, Jewel Riley of Houston, and Verdelle Whitlow of Timpson. Funeral services were under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors of Rosenberg. ∼ Dora Lee married James Bryan Dunn in 1923. She was briefly married to Adolph Sontag from June 3, 1970 to September 15, 1970. She married Herman D. Wood on December 14, 1976 in Wharton County, Texas.
