Bio
Funeral services for John A. Kennelly, 71, of Fulshear were held in the First Baptist Church of Rosenberg. Dr. R.G. Commander officiated. Mr. Kennelly died Friday in a Houston hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Fort Bend County and a resident of Houston for 16 years and a Fulshear for nine years. He was a retired merchant and rancher. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Inez Kennelly, six daughters, three brothers F.A. Kennelly of Rosenbert, Harmon Kennelly of Houston and J.T. Brumbelow; four sisters Mrs. Ruby Hoot and Mrs. Maggie Riley and Mrs. Dora Carter and Mrs. Verdella Whitlow, 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Burial was in Forest Park West. Funeral services under the direction of Garmany & Co. Funeral Directors Herald Coaster Aug 2, 1967
