Bio

Funeral services and requiem mass for Alvin Targac was held at 9 a. m. Tuesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Rev. Anthony Costantino, assisted by Rev. V. J. Bily, officiated. Burial was in the Palacios Cemetery with military honors accorded by Lt. Lloyd Queen V. F. W. Post. Mr. Targac, who moved to Palacios from El Campo 12 years ago, was born in Yoakum, Texas on December 1, 1893. Rosary was said Monday night at the Palacios Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Cecilia Targac; two brothers, Joe of Yoakum and Raymond of Roswell, New Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Baros of Shiner and Mrs. Ed Ermis of Forth Worth.
