BERTHA MAE HENSLEY FLASHER MARSHALL - Mrs. Bertha Hensley Flasher, 74, of Marshall, died Saturday at her home after an extended illness. She was a native of Madison County and daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Hensley. Surviving are the husband, Jim Flasher; three daughters, Mrs. Bonada Ogle of Marshall, Mrs. Mary E. Hunt of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Mrs. Betty Metcalf of Pikesville, Kentucky; three sons, Emmett Flasher of Detroit, Michigan, the Rev. Billy Flasher of Skyland, N.C. and Marvin Flasher of Marshall, N.C.; and 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Grapevine Baptist Church, of which she was a member. The Revs. Howard Ogle and J. J. Slagle will officiate. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers. The body will be taken to the home of the Rev. Howard Ogle at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, where it will remain until placed in the church for services.
