Bio

Frances was born to George W. Fitzhugh and Elizabeth Rountree Fitzhugh. She married Manly S. Beck (1829-1862) on June 28, 1852 in Collin Co., and together they raised four children, John W., Gabriel S., Lucetta S. and George M. Beck. Manly died for the Confederate cause during the Civil War and later Frances married Voltier R. Rountree in Fitzhugh Mills on Dec 26, 1865. Voltier had come from Illinois and together they had twin daughters Ada S. and Ida Elizabeth Rountree in 1867 and a son Dudley in 1869. Bio: Allen Rountree
