Hillsboro Reporter December 2003 ESTHER BESEDA Esther Beseda, 88, of West died Monday, December 22, 2003 at a West nursing home. She was born March 15, 1915 in Penelope and had lived in Dallas most of her life before moving to West six years ago. She was a member of St. Cecelia’s Catholic Church of Dallas. She married Ben B. Beseda September 13, 1937 in Penelope, and he preceded her in death February 15, 2000. Survivors include: one son, Allen Beseda and wife, Linda, of Arlington; one daughter, Inez Thompson of Azle; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 26, at the Catholic Church of the Nativity, Blessed Virgin Mary in Penelope. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. Friday at the Penelope Catholic Church with Rev. Bruno Mikolajczyk as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Penelope. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Kotch Funeral Home in West.
