Bio
The dauughter of Finis Ken & Myrtle (Casteel) Maness. step daughter of Lela Marquette (Twilligear) Maness. A sister to Finis, Francis & Ruby Maness, step-brothers: James Hiram Grundy & Mattie Ellsworth Grundy & half-brothers of Wesley Samuel Maness & Harley K. Maness,Sr.. She was wed on October 15, 1928 to Clifford Coy Odom. Their children are Geneva, Mary, Nelda, Doris & Carolyn, Wilburn, Jessie, Curtis, Delbert & Coy. Coy & Myrtle are both buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Wichita Falls, TX. Coy died in 1948 & is buried back by the water falls, and Myrtle is buried about three blocks away from him. Miss. Myrtle Casteel & Kin Maness (names spelled on marriage license this way) were united in marriage on 28th day of August in the year of our Lord, 1910 by Cleddie E. Wallace, Minister of the Gospel in Wise County Texas. After Myrtle's passing on (born:November 19,1896)August 5,1922. Finis Ken Maness & Lela Marquette (Twillgear) Grundy wed on December 4,1923 by Leslie Miller, Pastor 1st. Methodist Church, Wichita Falls, Texas. Finis Kin & Lela Marquette were laid to rest side by side at Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery, in Wichita Falls,Texas.
