Funeral service for Curtis Lee Odom, age 74, of Burkburnett, Texas, will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick, Oklahoma with Doyle Fuller and Bryan Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mr. Odom passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Curtis Lee Odom was born on November 8, 1938, in Byers, Texas to Clifford Cecil and Opal Luvestal(Maness) Odom. He wed Jolene (Jody) Hill on June 19, 1957. They had three daughters, Kim, Ramona and Juli. Curtis served his country for 13 years, 11 years with the National Guard and 2 years with the Army Reserves. Curtis owned and operated Odom Well Service for many years and retired in 1992 to spend time at the family farm raising cattle and farming. He recently returned to work for Tom Ruddy, Ruddy Farms. Curtis enjoyed golfing, the family farm, spending time with his lifelong friend, Bob Hogue and his beloved dog, Freck. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jolene (Jody) Odom of the home; three daughters, Kim Kolene Brown and husband Richard of San Angelo, Texas, Ramona Lee Clarkson of Iowa Park, Texas, Juli Jorene Prather and husband Scott of Combine, Texas; four grandsons, Patrick Brown and his wife, Meagan of Tucson, Arizona, Michael Brown of Phoenix, Arizona, Clint and Dillon Clarkson of Virginia; four sisters, Mary Frances Dorsey and her husband Willard, Nelda Fay Tuggle and her husband Bobby, Doris Ann Bartosh, and Carolyn Janet Howard and her husband, Willie, all of Wichita Falls, Texas; two brothers, Delbert Odom and his wife DeAnn of Burleson, Texas, and Jessie Eldon Odom and his wife Judy of Wichita Falls, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews and an abundance of other family and friends that will miss him deeply.
