Obituary in Lufkin Daily News, July 29, 1980 ROBERT FELIX ROBERTS (May5, 1903-July 26, 1980) Obituary provided by Judy Murphy VIDOR-Services for Robert Felix, 77 of 797 Lyndale, were conducted Monday in the Kelly-Hixson Mortuary Chapel in Beaumont. Mr. Roberts was born in Huntington, and died Saturday in a Beaumont hospital. He had lived in Beaumont for several years before moving to Vidor 4 years ago. A retired attorney, he had helped in founding the Baptist Hospital. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his widow, Marguerite Roberts, of Vidor; daughters, Audrey Wheeler of Vidor and Marjorie Sawyer of Beaumont; a brother, Cyrus of Nacogdoches; three sisters, Vergie Campbell of Houston, Lera Martin f Nacogdoches and Georgia DeWoody of Huntington.
