D/C lists DOD as 1/20/1939 *********************************** Obituary in Lufkin Daily News, Jan. 27, 1939 J. H. Roberts, 64, well-known farmer who had lived in this county for the past 50 years, died suddenly at his home in Huntington Friday morning following a heart attack. "Uncle Jimmie", as he was known to his host of friends in Lufkin and Huntington, was buried in the Huntington Cemetery Saturday afternoon following a simple funeral ceremony in the Huntington Baptist Church, of which he was a member, at 3 o'clock. Besides his wife, Mrs. Arrie Roberts, survivors include two sons, Cyrus Roberts of Houston and Robert F. Roberts of Beaumont; four daughters, Mrs. Andrew DeWoody, Mrs. Meddril Campbell of Huntington, Mrs. James Powers, Mrs. Otis Martin, of Nacogdoches; one brother, S. B. Roberts of Nacogdoches and one sister, Mrs. B. L. Collins of Lufkin. **********************************
