Bio

Mrs. G.R. Montgomery, 60, died in her home following a heart attack. Mrs. Montgomery moved to Seymour in 1951. Services were held at the Seymour Church of Christ with Floyd Davis, minister, officiating assisted by Roy Dean Verner of Slaton. Survived by her husband - Gradie Montgomery, Sr; five sons - Roy Lee, Grady, Jr., Willie Marvin, Raymond and Melvin Montgomery; four daughters - Mrs. Cordie Owens, Mrs. Patsy Ryan, Mrs. Mildred Wilson, Mrs. Dovie Hart; four sisters - Mrs. Laura Horton, Mrs Arizona Downs, Mrs. Fannie Mae Cox, Mrs. Marjorie Tate; three brothers - Clyde, Claude and Dewie Addington; 29 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
