Frank Bratrsovsky Dies July 1st At His Home S.W. of. Town — Frank Bratrsovsky passed away at his home southwest of Vaparaiso, on July 1, 1950, at the age of seventy-nine years, three months, and one day. He had been in ill health for the past two years with cancer. The son of John Bratrsovsky and his wife, Anna Foltyn, he was born at Medlitz, Moravia, on March 20, 1871, On May 5, 1895, he was married to Mary Kabourek at Brainard Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on May 18, 1982. Ten children were born to this union, of whom one son, Joseph, and a daughter, Lillian, are deceased. Survivors are: the four sons, Inno and Sylvester of Brainard, and Frak and Phillip of Valparaiso; three daughters, Mrs. Martha (Frank) Jelinek, Dwight, Mrs. Mary (George) Marshalek and Mrs. Anna (Frank) Foral, Morse Bluff, and Mrs. Josephine (Ed) Kratochvil, Raymond; fifteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by two brothers, John of Valparaiso, and Anton of Wahoo; and three sisters, Mrs. Frances Blatny, Linwood, Mrs. Magdeline Vyhlidal, Morse Bluff, Miss Albina Bratrsovsky, Wahoo. One sister, Mrs. Anna Pabian, and a brother, Charles, preceded him in death. His life's occupation had been farming, first in the community southeast of Brainard and later, southwest of Valparaiso. Funeral services were held on July 3, at 9:30 A.M. in St. Luke's Church, Loma, with Father Leiblinger officiating. Burial was in the Brainard Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Inno, Frank, and Phillip Bratrsovsky, George Marshalek, Frank Foral, and Ed Kratochvil. Coming from elsewhere for the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Anton Vyhlidal and family, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Nesladek, Mike Pabian, Mr. and Mrs. George Marshalek and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Foral and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Marshalek, all of Morse Bluff, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Vyhlidal and son and Mrs. Frances Blatny and family of Linwood, Mrs. Anton Bratrsovsky and daughter, Martha Vyhlidal, and Albina Bratrsovsky, of Wahoo, Mrs. Fred Sell and Robert of Seward, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Rolfsmeyer of Lincoln, Mrs. Anna Foral and family of Brainard, Mrs. Ignac Kratochvil of Agnew, Mrs. Caroline Bratrhovsky of Clarkson, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pabian of North Bend.
