Bio

John Bratrsovsky Mrs. Frances Blatny received word, Monday, of the death of her brother, John Bratrsovsky of Prague. He was born May 16, 1875, and passed away Jan. 18 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Paseka. Of a family of 14 children, some of whom died in infancy, he grew up in this community on what is now the Albin Kriz farm. He was employed for a number of years at the local grain elevator, under the management of the late D. G. Dawson. Services were held at 9:30, Jan. 20, at St. John's church in Prague. The Rev. William Rezabek officiated. Internment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews, Innocens Bratrsovsky, Adolph Vyhlidal, Michael Pabian, Frank Pabian, Victor Pabian and James Blatny. Attending from here were Frank Cihacek, James and Albina Blatny, Vitus Blatny and Mrs. Louis Shavlik and Milo. The Schuyler Sun (Schuyler, NE), Thursday, January 28, 1954; pg. 9
