Frances Wynelle Hammer, 93, passed away at a Waco hospital, Monday, November 6, 2012. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., November 8, 2012, at Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard, Texas. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors. Wynelle was born in Hubbard, Texas, to the late George Hammer and Daisie Vardeman Hammer. She was a longtime member of Lakeshore United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Maurice Hammer and Travis Hammer; and sisters, Alline Gilstrap, Juanita Carr, and Lorene Woodall. She is survived by her sister, Christine James, of Waco; and several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Waco Tribune-Herald: 11/7/2012
