Bio

PERRYTON — Thelma P. Vitek, 94, of Perryton died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Boxwell Brothers Chapel with the Rev. Terry Williams and Milton Allen officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Ms. Vitek was born March 1, 1918, in Canadian. She married John Vitek. He preceded her in death in 1997. Ms. Vitek lived in Perryton for five years, moving from the Austin area. She worked for Texas Railroad Commission in the oil and gas division. She also was preceded in death by a son, Benny Davis, in 1985, and her first husband, Benjamin H. Davis, in 1967. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Charlotte Davis of Perryton; a grandson, Randy J. Davis of Perryton; two nephews, Robert Vitek of Taylor and Harold Thrasher of Clovis, N.M.; and two nieces, Virginia Vitek of Austin and Wanda Fay of Missouri.
