∼ OBITUARY OF BENNY RAY DAVIS Benny Ray DAVIS, aged 48, was buried Monday afternoon in the Ochiltree Cemetery. Mr. DAVIS, a resident of Perryton since 1963, died Friday evening in an auto crash near Follett. Funeral Services were held at 5:00 p.m. Monday at Key Heights Baptist Church. Rev. Alan Tinsley, pastor, and Rev. Marvin Knox, former pastor, officiated. Burial in Ochiltree Cemetery was under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. Mr. DAVIS was born on November 13, 1936 in Del Rio, the son of Ben H. and Thelma Pendergraft DAVIS. He was raised in Pampa. A contract pumper, he was a member of the Key Heights Baptist Church. He was married to Charlotte HERRING on December 25, 1957 at Stinnett. They moved to Perryton from Borger six years later. Surviving are his wife; a son, Randy; and his mother, Thelma Davis VITEK of Jonestown, Texas. The family has requested that memorials be made to the "van fund" at the Key Heights Baptist Church.
