Fort Bend Herald, October 24, 2012: Louise Macha, 94, of East Bernard, Texas passed away on Monday, October 22, 2012 in Katy, Texas. Louise was born on June 12, 1918 to Joe F. and Rosie Hlavinka in East Bernard, Texas. On October 26, 1936, she married William J. Macha in East Bernard. Louise was a member of the KJZT, Catholic Daughters, Altar Society and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church all in East Bernard. She loved cooking. Louise is survived by two sons Lad Joe Macha of Houston, Texas and Fred Macha and wife Shirley of East Bernard; three grandchildren April Macha, Scott Macha and Jason Macha. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Joe F. and Rosie Hlavinka, husband Willie Macha, sisters Sophie Vacek, Annie Laitkep, Mary Matej and Frances Spurney and brother Joe M. Hlavinka. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited at 1:45 PM on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Holy Cross Catholic Church followed by her funeral a 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers are Clay Hlavinka, Ervin Kucera, Jerry Laitkep, Richard Vacek, Jason Macha and Scott Macha. Honorary Pallbearers are Ed Laitkep, Tim Laitkep, Frank Spurney, Joe F. Hlavinka, Carl Hlavinka and Charles Matej. Arrangements are under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Home in Wallis, Texas.
