Bio

Thanks to Find a Grave member Carolyn Brinkmeyer for the following information: Herald Coaster, January 16, 1969: Funeral services for Mrs. Rosie Hlavinka, 80, of East Bernard, are scheduled for 9:45 a.m. Friday in the Triska Funeral Home Chapel in East Bernard. Mass will follow in the Holy Cross Catholic Church in East Bernard, with the Rev. John Kakral officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday. Mrs. Hlavinka died early Wednesday in a Wharton hospital. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Willie Macha, Mrs. Charlie Matej, and Mrs. Charlie Vacek, all of East Bernard, Mrs. Frances Spurney of Baytown, and Mrs. Willie Laitkep of Wharton; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Plandor of Cleveland; and 19 grandchildren.
