The Schuyler Sun (Schuyler, Nebr.), October 10, 1968, p. 6A, col. 4 Leonard Rezac rites in Linwood Friday Leonard L. Rezac, 62, Linwood farmer, brother of Mrs. A. W. Johannes, died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at the ZCBJ Hall in Linwood. Rev. Richard Hovis, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will conduct the service and officiate at the burial in Linwood Hill Cemetery. Svoboda Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Leonard, son of Martin J. and Antonia Sabatka Rezac, was born April 10, 1906 at Linwood. He attended Linwood Public School, was a member of the Linwood ZCBJ Lodge and Volunteer Firemen. He lived on the farm near Linwood which had been in the family 75 years. He was an active member of all Linwood community affairs. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. A. W. Johannes; 2 brothers, Emil of Linwood and Edward of Omaha, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Joe Hoffman, William Scharf, Willard Peters, James Keeler, Albin Ustohal and Arnold Barcal.
