Bio

Herald Coaster, October 16, 1985: Funeral services for Louise Pyka, 74, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Rosenberg. Msgr. Robert Barzyk will officiate the service of his parishioner and burial will follow at Sealy Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg. Survivors include her husband, Joe Pyka; and three children, Harold Pyka of Cleveland, Virgie Carrol of Buffalo, Texas, and Cindy Marone of Rosenberg. Other survivors: brothers and four sisters, Steve Sliva and Louie Sliva, both of Rosenberg, Annie Svoboda of East Bernard, Willie Kutra, Ella Kutra, and Lillie Buchala, all of Sealy; and seven grandchildren.
