Bio

The Columbus Telegram, November 20, 1972 LITTY - Miss Mary Litty, 92, a resident of Columbus Manor, died Saturday. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in David City. The Rev. Paul York will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Her body lies in state today at the Knott Funeral Home in David City. Parish Council of Catholic Women will pray the rosary at 7:30 p.m. tonight, followed by the parish wake at 8 p.m. She was born March 7, 1880, the daughter of John and Rose Ege Litty. A sister, Anna of the Columbus Manor, is the only survivor. Three brothers preceded her in death.
