The Banner-Press (David City, Nebr.), July 11, 1974, p. 10, col. 2 Services Held For Miss Anna Litty Funeral services for Miss Anna A. Litty, 92, of David City were held Friday morning, July 5, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, David City. Miss Litty died Tuesday, July 2, at Columbus Manor where she had been residing for about two years. Father John Rasmussen officiated at the services. Mrs. Raymond Vanis was organist. Members of the P. C. C. W. attended in a body. Pallbearers were Everett McCracken, Charles Danaher, Anton Palik, Frank DeWispelare and Joseph and Ed Medinger. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Out of town relatives and friends were in attendance from Hampton, Omaha and Rising City. Anna, the daughter of John and Rosalia Litty, was born Feb. 22, 1882, at Conception, Mo. She is survived by six nephews, Lawrence and Andrew of David City, Leo and Bernard of Hampton, John of Omaha and Fred of Chicago, Ill.; and three nieces, Mrs. Joseph (Marie) Hilger of Omaha, Mrs. Gerald (Emma) Baysdorfer of Burbank, Calif., and Loretta Litty of David City. Her parents, three brothers, Frank, Joseph and Fred, and a sister, Mary, preceded her in death.
