Obituary of Elizabeth Urbanski Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Urbanski were held Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord. Mrs. Urbanski died Oct. 25 at the Burwell Community Hospital after a long illness. She was 83 years old. Father Stanley Gorak officiated at the 9:30 am funeral Mass. Burial was in the Ord Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Urbanski was born July 18, 1889 at Pittsburgh, Pa., and came to Valley County when a young girl. She was the daughter of Adam and Mary Maslonka. On June 26, 1905 she was united in marriage to Ignatius Urbanski at the Boleszyn Church. They lived on farms in Valley County until moving to Ord in 1951. Mr. Urbanski died in 1964. Survivors include three sons Joe of Omaha, James of Loup City and Albin also of Omaha; three daughters Mrs. Rose Sonnenfeld and Mrs. Josephine Wadas both of Ord and Verna Mottl of Omaha; 24 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
