Married first, Mar 29 1921 NE, Charles J Blaha Married second, Oct 16 1962, Stanley Rutar ----------------------------------- Wednesday Rites For Mary Rutar Mary Rovensky Blaha Rutar was born September 16, 1899 in the village of Novy Nesperice, Czechoslovakia, to Anton and Anna Rovensky, and died November 24, 1984 at the Valley County Nursing Home in Ord, Nebraska at the age of 85. Mary came to the USA in 1920. She lived with an aunt, Anna Polak Maruska, in Ord. Mary was married to Charles Blaha March 29, 1921. The farmed northeast of Ord until 1949 when they retired and moved to Ord. Two children were born to this marriage. Charles died November 2, 1957. Mary was married to Stan Rutar on October 16, 1962. Mr. Rutar died February 6, 1975. Survivors include two daughters, Norma Swanek Norman of Ord, and Lydia Pharis of Homosassa, FL; one niece; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two step-daughters, Lillian Krepel of Ord and Blanche Williams of Grand Island; two step- grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her two husbands, Charles Blaha and Stan Rutar; her parents, two brothers, Joe and Frank; and one sister Anna.
