Services Held for Mrs. Martha Wietzki Martha Florence Wietzki died August 25, 1975 at the Burwell Nursing Home. She was 72. Mrs. Wietzki was born March 2, 1903 in Valley County, the daughter of Stanislav and Julianna Wegrzyn, Her early life was spent in Valley County Public School and also Olean rural school. On Nov. 22, 1921 she was united in marriage to Paul J. Wietzki at Ord. After marriage they made their home on a farm in Valley County, later moving to Greeley County and remaining there until their retirement three and one half years ago when they moved to the Parkview Plaza at Burwell. Survivors include her husband, Paul J of Burwell; two sons, Charles of Burwell and Edward M. of Grand Island; 11 grandchildren and five great grand children; three sisters, Mrs. Victoria Jurzenski of Greeley, Mrs. Mae Ross of Central City and Mrs. Clara Welsh of Omaha. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one grandson, two sisters and one brother. Funeral services ere held today (Thursday) at 10 am at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord with the Rev. Jarleth Slobcryk officiating. assisted by Rev. Stanley Gorak. Mrs. Alyce Rogers, Mrs. Marlene Smith and Mrs. Audrey Novosad sang for the Mass accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Elsie Furtak Pallbearers were, John Kokes, E.R. Kokes, Milo Florian, Frank Beran, Ign. Pokraka and Vance Grabowski. Interment was in Ord Catholic Cemetery. Rosary was recited Wednesday at 8 p.m, at the Ord Memorial Chapel. The Ord Quiz - Thur, Aug 28 1975, Pg 6, Col 7
