Bio
She graduated from Guttenberg High School and taught in country schools before her marriage. Married Leo J. Flaherty May 15, 1919 in Garber Iowa. They raised 3 children. She lived in Garber until 1982, when she moved to the Guttenberg Care Center. She died at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guttenberg. Survivors: "Gene" Flaherty of Burlington , IA Elizabeth (Lyle) Kulper Donald Flaherty of Roger, AR 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great, grandchildren She was preceded by her husband, her parents, 3 sisters, and 4 brothers.
