Bio
Luke died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Luke T. Wieser was born October 31, 1926 in Humphrey, Nebraska to Henry and Emma (Kopetsky) Wieser. He married Theresa Zach on July 6, 1949 at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church near Humphrey. Luke farmed before moving to Columbus in 1960. He worked 17 years at Saunders Archery, 10 years as the custodian at St. Anthony School and part-time at J.C. Penney until retiring 5 years ago. Luke was a member of St. Anthony Church, Perpetual Adoration, Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society, Monday night bingo and was a past member of the adult choir. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards, sports (especially the Chicago Cubs) and spending time with his family.
