Henrietta A. Zach, 86, of Columbus died Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at her home in Columbus surrounded by her children. Henrietta A. Zach was born August 24, 1931 in Humphrey, NE to Henry and Emma (Kopetzy) Wieser. She was raised on a farm near Humphrey and graduated from St. Francis in 1949. Henrietta married Richard Zach on June 21, 1950 in Humphrey and she spent her life as a homemaker and caregiver for her immediate and extended family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Even after moving to Columbus her heart remained on the farm with her garden and flowers. She enjoyed polka dancing, cooking, baking, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards and spoiling grandkids and great-grandkids. She will always be remembered for her candy cupboard, her Thanksgiving feast and family celebrations. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and Christian Mothers.
