Bio
Born in the village of Vomice, town of Ivancice, county of Brno, Moravia, Austrian Empire (now in the Czech Republic). According to the 1900 census he was born November 1834 in Bohemia, had been married 33 years, and emigrated to the United States in 1884. At that time he farmed in Oak Creek Township, Butler County, Nebr. with his wife and two youngest children. '''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), July 22, 1903, p. 8, col. 2 BRAINARD CLIPPER Frank Rejda, sr. died at his home northeast of Brainard, last Sunday morning, after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Rejda had been a resident of this township for many years and will be sincerely mourned by his immediate family as well as a large circle of friends. At the time of his death he was about seventy years of age. The funeral was held Monday morning from Holy Trinity church, services by Rev. A. J. Klein. The interment was at the Catholic cemetery, whither the remains were followed by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends.
