Born in the village of Kopydlo, town of Kralovice, county of Plzen, Czechoslovakia, the son of James and Barbara (Kozel) Yindrick. Married Anna Kozisek (license dated November 7, 1878, Butler County, Nebr.). According to present arrangements, the funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. ''''''' People's Banner , May 1, 1919, p. 3, col. 2 BRUNO The funeral of Joseph Jindrick, who died Monday evening, took place Thursday forenoon from the Catholic church, Rev. Father Zalud conducting the services. It was largely attended by relatives and friends who came to pay their last respects to a man held in high esteem in this community. Mr. Jindrick suffered a long illness, coming home from the Prague hospital where he had spent the previous three months, just a week before his death. He was 65 years of age, a devout member of the Catholic church, who, making no parade of his religion, lived an exemplary Christian life, an example to all. He is survived by his wife, three sons, William of near David City, Fred of near Bruno, and Edward of Center and one daughter, Mrs. Helen Rerucha of near Brainard all of whom were present at the funeral and who have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement. ___ col. 3 Mr. and Mrs. Fred Knney of New Port, Nebraska, arrived Thursday morning to attend the funeral of Joseph Jindrich. Mrs. Jindrich and Mrs. Knney are sisters. They remained until Saturday for a visit with relatives, leaving for their home that day.
