Edward Yindrick was born in Bruno, Nebraska where he also attended school. He married Mary Anna Hlavac at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Bruno, Nebraska on October 13th 1908. He and Mary moved to Dwight where he operated a hardware store for four years. He and Anna then moved southeast of David City, Nebraska where he engaged in farming until his retirement. He served on the school board of District 60, was town assessor for 12 years and helped organize the Brainard Oil Company. His hobby was woodworking and made many clocks and cedar chests.
