Born in house #18, village of Mysletice, town of Telc, county of Jihlava, Moravia, Austrian Empire (now in the Czech Republic), the son of Mathias and Johanna (Pribyl) Dolezal. Married (1) Marie Posvar on February 6, 1877 at the Catholic Church in Linwood precinct, Butler County, Nebr. Married (2) her half-sister Josephine (Posvar) Hlavac on February 23, 1909 at St. Anthony Catholic church, Bruno, Nebr. According to his probate file he died April 6, 1916 and was survived by his widow Josephine; four children: Frank Dolezal (age 36 years), Anton Dolezal (32 years), Josie Polacek (34 years), Agnes Pelan (26 years); and the two children of his deceased son Joseph Dolezal: Ottilla Dolezal (8 years) and Ferdinand Dolezal (10 years). Burial was in the Catholic cemetery.
