Married Johanna Pribyl (daughter of John Pribyl and Elizabeth Novotny) on June 5, 1849. Parents of two children: Frank (died infancy) and John. '''''''''''' The Brainard Clipper (Brainard, Nebr.), March 12, 1908, p. 5, col. 1 BRUNO ITEMS After an illness of a few weeks Matej Dolezal died Wednesday of last week, aged 84 years. Interment took place Friday at Catholic cemetery west of town. ''''''''''' Peoples Banner (David City, Nebr.), March 12, 1908, p. 10, col. 5 Bruno Grandfather Dolazal [ sic ] died of old age Wednesday, at his son's place. The funeral was held on Friday at the Catholic church. The remains were placed in the Catholic cemetery. May his soul rest in peace.
