Helene E. Hesse, 71 April 19, 1930-March 28, 2002 GREELEY, Colo. - Helene Edith Hesse, 71, died Thursday, March 28, 2002, at her home. She was born April 19, 1930, at Alliance. Her parents were Clarence and Mary M. (Mayoue) Stannus. She was married to Kenneth Hesse on Nov. 17, 1962, at the First Presbyterian Church at Greeley. She was a cosmetician for Gilbert Drug Stores for 15 years. She then worked in the sheet film industry for Kodak Colorado Division for 16 years. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hesse of Greeley; son John S. Blumanthal of Cupertino, Calif.; daughter, Anne L. Simon of Loveland, Colo; grandson, Eric Blumenthal and Granddaughter, Lauryn DeAnne Simon. She also is survived by one sister, Della Golka of Greeley. Mrs. Hesse's memorial service was Tuesday, April 2, at the First United Presbyterian Church at Greeley, with Dr. William Hamilton officiating. Inurnment was Tuesday, April 2, at the Alliance Cemetery.
