Bio

Hester Duckworth was the daughter of Capt Jacob Duckworth 1740-1787 and his wife Charity,she was the grandaughter of Joseph Duckworth and Hester Ong who moved to Cumberland Co NC in 1765. Hester Duckworth married Thomas Martin in Anson Co SC,in 1798 she and her husband and her mother and siblings moved to Anderson Co SC and joined the big creek baptist church.
