Logansport Pharos Tribune, December 12, 1994, page 2 MONTICELLO — Virginia Toombs, 81, of 1120 N. Main St., died at 4:18 a.m. today in Monticello Healthcare Center. Born June 19, 1913, in Monon, she was the daughter of James and Catherine Morris Burks. On June 9, 1934, she was married to Robert E. Toombs, who died in June 1971. Before moving to the healthcare center a year ago, Mrs. Toombs had resided at Rt. 1, Monticello, for more than 30 years. Surviving is one sister, Mildred Barrow, Brownsburg. Nine sisters and five brothers preceded in death. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. James H. Rucker Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Riverview IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lions Club Eve Bank
