Birth date provided by Cemetery Secretary (#50513012) who consulted her baptismal record. According to her obituary she died January 31 not February 2 as inscribed on her gravestone. '''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), February 2, 1900, p. 5, col. 3 The home of John Stava, of Bruno, is in mourning on account of diphtheria in its worst form. Six children were suffering from that dread disease, the oldest child, a girl aged sixteen, choked to death Wednesday afternoon. The other five children are getting better and are considered out of danger.
