TOOK HIS OWN LIFE Bruno, Oct. 6 Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Wahoo for James Stava, 45, who had taken his life by hanging. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery at Weston. The pallbearers were Joe, Frank, Albert and Adolph Stava, Joseph Krepcik and John Nekuda. James Stava is survived by his wife, four sons and two daughters of Wahoo. He had been employed, at the Mead ordnance plant. Mr. Stava, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John A. Stava, was born near Bruno and had lived here until moving to Weston some years ago. Among those in attendance at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stava, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stava and son, Mr. and Mrs. Adolf Polacek and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Polacek and Celestine Skoda, all of Bruno, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stava of David City, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Stava of Rising City, John Nekuda and children, Mr. and Mrs. John Kouma and children, Mr. and Mrs. James Hruska, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. James Hruska, Jr., all of Dwight, and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Rejda of Brainard.
